Bio:

The story of Oxley
Born to a noble family in the Kingdom of Caldogar, Oxley was a small and frail child. At the age of 3, he fell ill with a sickness which sapped his strength, and clouded his vision, preventing him from seeing beyond a few paces. After this happened, strange things began occurring around him, small things that shouldn’t of happened. The servants began whispering of “sorcerer.” His mother, having convinced his father to do so, sent Oxley off to the elven kingdom of Sestinia, where he could be safe and learn his powers.
Misunderstandings can be a bitch sometimes.
Oxley was not born with the “taint” of sorcery, but instead the touch of the divine. The sickness was a blessing from the Saints, a gift granting visions to the young child. Arriving at a College of magic in Sestinia, Oxley was shuffled around quite a bit while the teachers tried to figure out what to do with him. His divine nature was discovered, the school decided against contacting his parents, who would assuredly reclaim there child and stop paying for tuition. The professors wanted to study (in the philosophical since, not mad scientist lab kind of study) this strange quirk of magic.
It was during theses shuffling that Oxley was found by his future friend and long term traveling companion Sharton. Sharton, seeing the benefits of a divine spell caster who had no negative connotations toward the Arcane, thought he could be a useful tool. Sharton got more then he bargained for.
Oxley saw through most of Sharton’s ploys, but liked him anyway. They became fast friends, Oxley helping Sharton on his schemes, but reining him in when he went to far. After they completed there studies, Sharton decided to join the knightly order, and Oxley accompanied him, having no real ties to his true home.
